Aston Martin DB9 Repair and Polish
Here we have a beautiful Aston Martin DB9. Came in for a repair to the rear bumper (as pictured below) and also a top spec overall machine polish.
REPAIR & POLISH
Preperation
The bumper was heated and reshaped in this instance due to the damage only being minor, followed of course by being sanded and primed, then painted and flatted.
After the repair was done the whole paintwork of the car underwent a complete revamp via a top specification 3 stage machine polish.
Flat, lifeless paintwork
1st stage – Cutting compound to remove all scratches and blemishes from the paintwork
2nd stage – Medium compound to bring the paintwork back to life.
3rd stage – A fine polish, to really give the paintwork the shine. Which also is followed by a wax which aims to protect the paintwork for the future.
